So my dress is a ball gown, so the skirt is pretty big. I can’t decide how dramatic I want my skirt to be, however. Unfortunately, I can’t try the more dramatic skirt in with my dress as Davids Bridal has it for online purchase only. I have included pictures of both slips and my dress.

Your dress is very pretty. For me personally I think the first slip has enough poof, but that's a personal preference I think. I can't believe DB doesn't have a slip like that you can use to see the look. Have you called around to other DB's to ask?

Have you gone in and ask if they have the slips there in the store to try on?? The david bridals by my house has them in the store to try on with the dresses if asked.

I have the regular ballgown slip from DB, and I feel it adds enough volume to the skirt!

Check amazon they have some ball gown slips that look just like that are cheaper AND you can return it lol

I agree with the Amazon option. That is what I did, ordered a couple and chose what worked best.
