Are you doing one? I'm working on mine now. FH and I were cute kids so I'm having a hard time cutting it down. It's at 12 minutes now, which I know is way too long to make our guests sit through. Are you doing one? I'm working on mine now. FH and I were cute kids so I'm having a hard time cutting it down. It's at 12 minutes now, which I know is way too long to make our guests sit through. I originally had it as a loop, but we're now using our screen as a backdrop for our head table so the slideshow will just play once.

How long do you sit through slideshows before you get bored? Also, how many seconds should each picture appear for?

Just had to post a picture of our cuteness.

One thought would be to simply load a digital picture frame or two and put them on a table, looping continuously so that people who would like to watch them can, and those who do not want to don't have to. Another thought would be to have the photos "loop" on a regular size screen during a cocktail hour or while guests arrive. People can then watch the screen for the entire show if they want to, look at a few of the photos, or not watch them at all.

I agree with @Emmy, try to play it on a loop during cocktail hour or during dinner, not make everyone sit and watch it.

In agreement with the cocktail hour idea. Honestly, no one really wants to see your baby pictures, let alone to be forced to sit and watch them.

Went to one wedding where they picked some of the most humorous photos of both--along with some hilarious descriptions. They weren't the cutesy/lovey ones--but truly as seen in their "awkward moments" light! Had everyone in stitches! Didn't last 5 minutes--but broke the ice and everyone enjoyed the heck out of them!
