Sky lanterns

I love sky lanterns (and tangled too)! Unfortunately we aren’t allowed to light them and set them free because of the fire danger associated. Please look into this carefully and ask your venue. Lanterns (and balloons) can be an electrical, environmental or fire hazard.

PS I LOVE that movie, especially that scene! Can you recreate that scene in your reception area with hanging lanterns?

TANGLED IS LIFE. Ok. Now that that is out of the way, have you thought about who will go chase the lanterns?? Sending off two or three is one thing but a whole big group? I'd be annoyed to wake up and find a ton in my front yard.

Have you checked with your venue that this is permitted? It is definitely something that you should check before hand!

I would check out Amazon for lanterns like this. I’m pretty sure that you can buy them there!!

Tangled is my favorite as well and a large part of the theme for our wedding. I wanted to do the lanterns, but sadly they are illegal in NJ. I would check with your town or fire inspector to see what the laws are for your area. And also double check with your venue if your state allows them.
