Skipping favors?

Is anyone else not doing favors? I didn't plan on having any, but now I'm starting to feel a little guilty about it. Is this a big deal or am I stressing over nothing?

We're also skipping favors. It's such an outdated tradition and no one cares about them anyway.

We're planning on having them, but I don't think it matters either way. Ours will be something edible.

They aren't necessary, so don't feel guilty.

The last time I cared about a favor was when I was 10 and at a friend's birthday party.

We went back and forth on this and still are.

If you don't want to, don't. I never have taken a favor unless it was edible.

We're not doing them. We're making charitable donations in honor of loved ones that passed instead.

I'm skipping and was worried to tell my mom and stepmom thinking they'd both freak out but we totally skipped right over that and no one seems to care. My sister and friends all reply with "good because it's a waste of money".

We weren't going to do them. But at the last minute I got small butlers egg shaped chocolates, gave one to everyone. They are really good chocolate and were on sale. (Wedding was a few days after easter)

I am not doing favors but here are the things that I'll have going on at mine:

    Photobooth

    Ice Cream Bar

Tea Bar (4 or 5 different types of teas - mainly for dinner, people who don't drink beer, and of course kids)

    Margarita Machine

Regular bar (no cash bar though)

All of those are going to be expensive add-on's so I really don't feel like giving out candles, koozies, or something that people don't want my or hubby's names on.... However I do think edible favors (cookies, to-go boxes, honey, jame, etc.) are practical if you insist of having favors - but I think if you are providing food & alcohol at your reception then you can skip on favors

We didn't do them and no one missed them! It was a relief to have one less thing to worry about and purchase.
