We are skipping it. we are having our honeymoon a day after the wedding and will be gone a week or so. both FH and I took 2 weeks off, so when we get back it's off to a hot spring in the mountains somewhere!

I'm skipping it completely. FH and I have lived together for 8 years and have everything we need. We also moved two years ago and got new stuff then. I also don't have more than 6 people to invite, including my mom and FH mom. None of the girls know each other so it would be weird. I'll probably do some modified version of a bachelorette party with me and sister and maybe one other person.

I'm skipping it. I'm incredibly anxious and I truly cannot see myself as the center of attention for that much time. also, we don't need gifts. I plan just go to each of my girls (there are only two) home states and hang with them for a weekend so I have time with them together, seperately.

I am not having a bridal shower, but I am going to have a bridal brunch. No gifts just a nice brunch with my wedding party and the moms. We are having a destination wedding so I am going to give my bridesmaids their gifts at it!

I am skipping it as well. I just feel like if I have to plan it I could use that extra money on the wedding! However, if someone wanted to plan one for me I would be open to having one.

My mom is throwing me a lingerie shower. We already live together, also, so there's no need for household items. But it's a tradition in my family to have a lingerie shower before the wedding, and it'll be the day right before the wedding (lots of people traveling in so that's really the only time). It'll be a nice way to get all the ladies together ahead of time and my mom is very excited to be throwing it. However, I decided not to have a maid of honor (too much extra pressure to put on my friends when we're all 20-22, I'll be honored just to have them as bridesmaids with the money they'll have to spend) so I accepted that I wouldn't have anyone to throw me a shower and I was fine with it. I didn't feel like I was missing out on anything. But my lovely mother offered to throw one for me and I couldn't say no! I think it works either way.
