Sister in law

Hailey, on June 27, 2019 at 6:27 PM Posted in Family and Relationships 0 25
Okkkk I have just about had it with my fiancé’s sister in law. We already don’t get along. And now when she showed me what she wants to wear the the wedding what color do you think it is? WHITE! Just needed to vent a little cause I honestly can’t deal with her drama anymore..

Oh no! I think you can nicely text her or make it like a joke and say no one is allow to wear white expect the bride. Just compliment the dress and say is beautiful but not for your wedding.

It was in person, I said “maybe not white though” and she goes oh well it’s cream... I wish it was that easy

    Oh how awk! 🙈
Truth is every wedding I have being to there’s one person wearing white and honestly everyone just talks bad about them. They don’t steal they show they just look bad. If there’s nothing you can do just let her be and look the other way. Avoiding her might be best for you.

I was at wedding this last weekend and younger girl had a right dress on too. I noticed it but not a big deal. However, it is your sister in law and i feel like she should know better.

Unfortunately she does, I had already seen a dress I liked and I thought she bought. I really think a lot of it was to get me upset and I would rather show I’m upset here then to her 😂

Oh no, I hope she's not serious! My friend joked she's going to wear white and my FH has said "if anyone show's up in white, they're being asked to leave, I don't care who it is" Maybe she'll change it by the time your wedding comes around

Yes I’m going to say something I just am waiting for my emotions to settle. We are also the same size so on the day of if she is wearing white I will have a dress that she can either change into or leave.

Good plan. I have learned it's a lot easier to take what my future sister in law does with a grain of salt. She drives me crazy. But easier to not show it and just go with it. She told me she hated the date I picked because its during the school year. Sorry that I wanted a fall wedding. So I just said ok and that was it. She then complained about my response to her dad. He didnt care.

Also my phone auto corrected white to right in my previous comment lol.

Lol, its not funny and Im sorry but I know so many women who intentionally "pick" and try to irritate others. I just don't know why.
If I were you I would do it via text, email, FB messenger, etc just so you have proof too of you telling her. Just in case she wears it anyway, she can't say you didn't tell her.

Yes that’s my plan! It is funny because you wouldn’t think you would have to be dealing with this especially from someone in your finances family!

Yes, im so sorry. I hate seeing these kind of stories. Ive truly lucked out because my FSIL and FILs are all amazing and welcoming and accommodating to both me and my son.

Lol, my fiancé’s sister showed up to my engagement party wearing white, after I literally told her I want to be the only one wearing white a week before the party. Her and I don’t get along at all either, no matter how hard I try- she doesn’t want to accept me in her family

Noooooooo!!! Why would she do that. I can’t even with individuals who want attention on someone else’s special day. No white is wedding 101

Uh, nooooo! That's so rude and to say oh, it's cream is just the icing on the cake. Honestly if she wears that to your wedding she's the one who will look ridiculous and will show herself for the spiteful, attention-grabbing brat she is. I do think she's trying to rile you up, try not to play into her hand. It sucks that you have to deal with such nonsense.

🙄🙄 oh how annoying. Honestly I wouldn’t give it any more energy. She’s clearly trying to get a reaction out of you because anyone with common sense should understand you saying “maybe not white” and realizing that cream is in that same family. If she wears it I think most guests will think she is out of line so she’s going to end up making herself look bad. Also no one will still your thunder. All eyes will be on you so she will be a blip on the screen! Have you mentioned it to your SO, if so what did SO say?

Yes my SO basically thinks she is doing it to get a rise out of me and he has said he has no problem saying anything on the day if it comes to that. My other SIL also agrees so if she does in fact do it many people will be saying something to her lol
