Sister being a pain in the butt

That can be very frustrating... I can understand the online shopping concern over something like a formal dress, but she definitely doesn't have a say on the store!

How far along is she? If possible it would be better for her to dress shop when she doesn't have the baby belly anymore. That way she can account for any other physical changes too. My MOH dress was from David's Bridal (online), but she went to the brick and mortar store to try on similar cuts wearing the baby belly. That way she'd have a better idea of how it would fall on her.

Where online are you looking? I would check out Azazie. They have a try before you buy option, which sounds like is exactly what your sister needs... after the baby comes in September. Since you are not getting married until February, she will have plenty of time to have the baby, lose some baby weight, and hopefully feel better about trying on dresses. Plus, having the ability to try the dress on before committing to it calms some nerves. Azazie has TONS of style and color options. You can also get color swatches sent to you.

But I agree with you on David's Bridal. I checked them out and the dresses look cheap and for the price, they are very poor quality. My girls ordered their dresses from Azazie and I cannot say enough good things about them!

Pushy bridesmaid are no fun! I have one in my party, I am planning on going through Azazie for my dresses and she doesn't want to order from online either. But I like the styles and colors on there better. I sent my pushy BM a few screenshots of what I was thinking and she literally told me she hated everything I picked.

That's super frustrating, but try not to let it bother you. Guests will be focused on you, not the bridal party!

I just was blunt and told my pushy BM that I'm sorry if she doesn't like what I pick, but this is my day. I am giving you a few options to pick from. I have 3 girls in my bridal party, with 7 dresses to pick from. I also found it hard to believe my BM hates everything I picked. It's probably harder to do that though considering it is your sister.
