Silver shoes with ivory dress

I've seen situations where it works, I think it depends though on both how the dress and shoes look. Will you shoes be showing?

I think it will be fine. Ivory is so close to white and often times the brides shoes are never shown.

No one will notice except you, so if you think it works, go for it! I would probably not pair silver with ivory because of the contrasting cool (silver) and warm tones (ivory), but I’m a perfectionist.

There is no way anyone will see your shoes. Those who do won’t care. Don’t stress. Rock the silver.

How ivory is it? If it's like a deeper eggnog ivory I would think maybe not. If it's a whiter ivory/ off white it could work if it's more metallic and a whiter silver. It seems a little off in my head but you should try it on with your dress and your skin tone and your style and see how it looks and feels through your perception. Show us a pic if you ever have one! I think with that colour of dress, they would look fine. I agree with the others that with a warmer ivory that's more champagne-toned, a gold shoe would tone in better.
