Signs (and flowers!) / 2 weeks!

Yesterday was such a crazy hectic day of getting stuff done, and now today we are officially 2 weeks away from our wedding! I finally finished DIYing our signs, we got our card box and a basket for the yarmulkes, and my mom took me to the local florist to pick out my bouquet (the flowers in the pictures are the ones I’ll be using but it obviously isn’t put together in that picture... it will be 4 white and 4 pink and obviously arranged much better lol). I also wrote what I think was a great toast for the rehearsal dinner, and got a bunch of thank you cards done too.

Phew. I’m completely exhausted, and I feel like I’ve been nonstop getting wedding stuff done all weekend but I still have SO many things left on my list! I feel like every time I cross something off, I think of 2 more things to add 😂

    We’re literally done! We have our rehearsal on Tuesday, getting mani pedis on Friday and then we’re ready 🤯

    Omg, I envy you! You’re so close, congrats! Did you feel like things started to wind down once you got to the week before? I feel like i haven’t had a moment to breathe in so long, I’m hoping next week will be better

    Hahaha yes honestly I am enjoying everything I’m working on at this point, it’s just the fact that it’s all at once is completely exhausting!

    It is a lot... That's why I'm starting early and just doing it slowly but doing it ya know. I already have my centerpieces almost done. Just need to order the flowers the week of and then I'm done with those so I'm at least doing it with time... But it is a lot still

    I’m honestly such a type A that I never had a moment where I felt like I was behind or stressed, I followed my checklists to a T and paid off all my payments super early that way I wasn’t getting anxious 😂

    I’m getting married on the 1st & I feel like there’s so much left to do😭 I suffer from anxiety attack’s so I’m trying to keep calm but there’s so many little details & FH is long distance so I really need him here to lean on! He gets here in 10 days & I’m so ready lol I have to finish my bouquet (I’m diying), figure out my chair cover situation (I had some in storage turns out I only have 39 which is such a random number & their tan so super hard to match), write out the ceremony for our offiant who is my uncle, still have quite a few things to pay off, get a music playlist set up (both of my laptops are now on the fritz), finish up my flower girls outfits, get dinnerware food is catered drop off. The list feels never ending!

    That's great! Flowers was so low on my priority list honestly I didn't even care enough to put any effort into it, and then this weekend my mom was like "you have to get a bouquet! I'll buy it for you!" lol, so we went. One of the florists we went to was super judgy and patronizing and "you're getting married in TWO WEEKS and you don't have your FLOWERS yet?!" I'm like....... yep, that IS the situation! *sigh*

    Definitely great to get things done early! I feel like I have been perpetually busy with wedding stuff for the past year, and like it makes 0 sense that I still have so much left to do, and yet here we are hahah

    I'm so type A too and I've never really felt behind throughout this whole process! I've stayed pretty on top of my checklist, I just feel like so many things popped up this past week and this is the first time throughout the engagement where I've actually felt like there isn't enough time to finish everything x.x I am sure it'll work out though, it always does!

    Girl, I feel you! I am so relieved we got the flowers done yesterday, we should've done that sooner honestly but it was just so low on my list of priorities. The florist we went to was super easy to work with too, she basically just showed me exactly what I wanted and then was like "great when will you pick it up?" so that was pretty easy and stress-free! We FINALLY finished our seating chart on Friday too, but we had to move the table arrangement around because the venue was giving us 15 tables but now I think we only need 12 based on declines. So I'm pretty sure it's done, but I'm holding off on finishing the escort cards until they give me an updated map of the room with 12 tables. We have to finish our ceremony script and playlist too, agh those are two things I have been procrastinating like crazy. I'm going to try to finish the ceremony script tonight, wish me luck!

    I decided on flowers later since I wanted only greenery but a bit of color would have been nice for the design I was going for, so I just went with simple and cheap, baby breath, lol
