Signature drinks

We debated a signature drink, but it wasn't something our venue really could do unless it was per glass, at their normal cocktail price of $15-20AUD, and we couldn't be sure who would drink it, so we decided against. If we'd been able to, I would have chosen either something in our theme colours (soft peachy pinks, creams, ivories, and a bright, spring green), or something relevant to our personal tastes. For us that would have been an espresso martini, a negroni or an old fashioned, maybe a grapefruit paloma or something - coffee got a mention in our vows (I love it a lot) and we drink a lot of scotch, so those all made sense to us. Here are some pics for inspo!

If you're looking for a fall flavour, what about a spiced rum cocktail, or some kind of warm apple cider? Maybe a mulled wine? Do these inspire?

In my personal opinion, the draw of signature drinks is the connection to the couple. We hope to do a "His" and "Hers" based on our favorite drinks- rum & coke and a margarita.

We did not have signature drinks either but we provided coffee, tea, hot cocoa and a nice fruit punch that a lot of guests decided to ask the bartender to spike with liquor (primarily vodka). It was made with mango juice, blood orange juice, and cranberry ginger ale. There was also a number of people who spiked their coffee with dark liquor or bailey's.

We're having Old Fashioned as our signature drink. My grandparents were married 62 years and made these all the time, so we're using my grandmother's recipe.

Hi Sarah. The Old Fashioneds I'm used to having use bourbon, bitters, a little sugar, muddled oranges and cocktail cherries.

My venue doesn’t provide alcohol, but they do provide bartenders and we got the bar upgrade that includes all standard juices, mixers and garnishes. Since we’re providing our own alcohol it made it easier for us to do signature drinks. My FH decided on a Kentucky Peach (basically a Kentucky Mule with peach simple syrup) and I’m doing a sunrise Mimosa (a mimosa with grenadine). I’m not a huge drinker either, but I do love me a mimosa!

I wasn't planning on anything either than beer and wine because I think it can be hard to choose a specific drink for all guests, but I've recently decided to give an option for Aperol Spritz!!! We live and work in Europe as do most of our friends and it's really big there for pre-dinner drinks. I personally love them and since we're getting married in the heat of summer it's a perfect refreshment. 😊 plus lower alcohol content

We're having a full bar (it was important to my fiancée) but I also want to do signature drinks, because I think they're fun. I agree with everyone who suggesting designing the drinks to symbolize each partner. Like, if you love coffee, consider an espresso martini.

A lot of people also use signature drinks to reference their pets. We have two cats named Midge and Scamper, so I'm thinking of a Midge-Mosa or a Moscow Midge, and a Scampertini. I just have to convince my partner!

We actually went with these 2 but the Bullet Biter was AMAZING 😋

We are doing a his and hers fave drinks for the fun of it in addition to a full bar his will either be an old-fashioned or whiskey and mine is going to basically be a sex on the beach (but we are renaming it something cheesy not sure what yet haha)

For fall you can do something with cranberry or I once had a pumpkin pie martini that was amazing, warm cider and rum is nice too. Have fun choosing!
