Signature Drinks

Treasure, on February 3, 2021 at 10:22 AM Posted in Wedding Reception 0 15
Hi. We are working on our signature drinks. Our wedding is in July. For me I picked a Malibu Bay Breeze (of course we will use a pretty name). But having trouble with something for the groom. Any ideas?

Does he like any specific liquor? Jack and coke, Moscow Mule, Whiskey Sour are some ideas

If he's not into alcohol, his signature drink could be his favorite non-alcoholic beverage! Flavored lemonades, sodas, smoothies, etc.

Since he's not a big drinker, maybe do a mocktail of some sort? Or a fun natural drink like cucumber and mint lemonade.

I don't drink so my husband picked our signature drink. It was a red sangria. He wanted something red since it was one

My fiancé is doing a honey bourbon lemonade )a little pricey) but he loves bourbon and ours is a summer wedding so we think the lemonade will be a hit at the bar!

If he's not a big drinker, why not just have one signature drink so instead of the bride's signature drink and the groom's signature drink, it's the couple's signature drink? The cute drink name could include your new last name (assuming you intend to use his last name) to show that it's the couple's drink . . . just a thought.

My fiancé doesn’t drink, and I only drink a little, so we’re doing signature cocktails named after our dogs lol. We want our signature drinks to be alcoholic because our venue requires us to provide all of the alcohol, and being that we’re not big drinkers, we don’t want to end up with a bunch of extra booze that will get wasted, so we’re only doing beer, wine, and two signature cocktails to at least provide a couple of liquor options! My dog’s name is Rome, and my family loves rum n cokes, so we’re doing the “Rome n Coke” and then we have to come up with one other one for our other dog Ella. Our third dog is named Pilot, so we’re going to list the wines and beers under “Pilot’s Pub.”

I don’t drink so my signature drink will be fresh squeezed strawberry lemonade. My fiancé loves Malibu & Coke- that’ll be his.

We are doing 1 signature drink and naming it after our dog! This way we dont have to pick two drinks and we can honor our dog who will be at doggy camp during the wedding lol.

How about a more spirit forward cocktail, like an old fashioned? I bet a lot of men or bourbon/whisky lovers would love to sip on that! Plus it would be a nice contrast/compliment to your more citrusy cocktail.

Sorry, just now seeing that he’s not a big drinker. You could always do a non alcoholic cocktail like a Nojito (non alcoholic mojito). Cocktails that are made with bubbly are really sipable and are low ABV, so any cocktails that include soda water or Prosecco would be a great option! Try googling the term “low ABV cocktail” and see what fun things are out there.
