Signature Drinks

Are these actual signature drinks with a name twist? We are having an open bar, but we also wanted to have a signature drink for fun. I wasn’t sure if these had to be real drinks with a cute name change or drinks we drink with our own twist. For example, instead of a martini we were thinking of a calling it a ‘britini’ because her name is Britany. Or, I love Arnold Palmers but I want to add vodka to it and couldn’t think of a name for it.

I think it can be anything you want. I’m doing a basic Tito’s and pink lemonade with blueberries to give it a nice classy summer feel. Not sure on the name yet but as long as you have a “menu” at the bar with the name of the drink and the ingredients it shouldn’t matter!

It can be something you create on your own, or a well-known cocktail with just a twist to the name! We actually had both! His was one we came up with - the "Shiner Shandy" - which had Shiner Bock beer and lemonade. Mine was "Love SubLime", which was just the usual gin & tonic with lime. My mom made a sign with our signature drinks on it so people knew they were being offered by our venue. Many went nuts over the shandy! We couldn't believe how many guests were giving us compliments on it as we made our rounds socializing!

We're doing a mixed drink that reflects what we like. We're not changing the name (apple cider mimosa). I love your martini idea!

We're only doing one drink. My caterer said that most people don't drink the signatures because they would rather order what they like.

H and I each chose a drink we liked and added a twist to it - H's drink was a pineapple mojito made with a local spiced rum and mine was a moscow mule with raspberry liquor added. They were both big hits!
