Signature Drink

BrideToBe101, on June 12, 2017 at 7:20 PM Posted in Wedding Attire 0 18

I'm not big on alcohol but I know I want my signature drink to include coconut rum. Any ideas of other things to add to it? I was thinking maybe pineapple juice and what else?? Help a sister out!!

Pineapple and cranberry juice! It's 90 something degrees out right now, so that sounds so good. Smiley smile

Sorry for kind of hijacking your thread Delisa.

I was just in Jamaica and someone made me a pink drink with yellow in the middle and it tasted like coconut rum was in it. The lady said it was a bob Marley which is clearly not the case - which we found out later. Now I can't figure out what it was and it was SO good !

I love a drink called a scooby snack. It is malibu, pineapple juice, midori, and whip cream shaken together. You could also add banana liquor to it if you wanted. This is actually what I am doing for my signature drink.

My uncle makes us coconut rum, orange juice and a splash of pineapple juice. We have them at camping to help out hangovers - we call them "afternoon delights". Good but very sweet. I can only have about 2

I would avoid cranberry juice personally a lot of people don't like it and it's a very dry juice making you even more thirsty. Stick with orange juice, pineapple juice and grenadine. We call this a Malibu rum punch. The ginger ale is also a good idea to cut some of the acid. I know this is going to sound crazy but you must try it. Rum punch, Mt. Dew (regular or diet) and grenadine. Another really good mix is Malibu or any other coconut rum, V-8 Strawberry/banana with V-8 Mango/Pineapple and grenadine. Cherry juice can always be substituted for grenadine. Add cherries, orange slices or pineapple slices or all the above to give any of these drinks a little extra something to look at.

Maybe I'm weird but I just drink coconut rum and lemon/lime soda. Tastes like the beach, or if you just do a lime club soda, way less sugar than juice (Malibu has a ton of sugar on its own)
