Has anyone made a guestbook on shutterfly?? I've made many books on there and love them all, I just need some tips from someone who's made a guestbook Smiley winking

I did and it turned out great! I used our engagement photos so even if no one signs it at least we have a photo album

We did and I love it! It was mostly engagement pictures with some quotes about marriage too. It sits on our entry table. It takes some time to get the layout looking good, so just make sure you have a chunk of time to work on it.

I did and I love it. It was easy to create and will be a better keepsake for us than a traditional guest book.

I did too and love it. Its super high quality and they have sales all the time. Mine ended up costing like $10 including shipping.

I know someone asked this before but I was wondering what kind of pen should be used on these so they don't smudge or anything.

@Kelsey R I hope you don't mind me asking just curious because I can't find the thread.

We tried to do it, but had some trouble getting things to lay out correctly. Our photographer also required a $500 purchase to be able to early release all of our engagement photos, so we just went ahead and ordered a guestbook from them.

Our turned out amazing! Great quality. Some of the templates were harder to use, but you can customize however you want!

Mine turned out great, but it is MUCH smaller and MUCH thinner than you may initially picture in your head. I'm not a good visualizer, so it's my fault, not theirs.

Print quality is great. Remember not to put words over the middle seams Smiley smile

Awesome! Thank you Smiley smile couple things for those that have made one-

How many pages did you do? I've made many books with them so I have an idea of what to expect but the guestbook side of things... Like is 25 pages enough or should I do more than that? Our guest list is 350+ but not everyone signs it either...

What kind of pen do you recommend?

Did you do special pages for your wedding party or immediate family to sign?

Did you add special things like "tell a story about the couple" or "marriage advice" that sort of thing and if so did people actually write things or just sign their "congrats and name"?!

    Thank you!!! Smiley winking

I made a 40 page one because it was $7 on groupon but that was probably overkill haha ... We've been together for 5 years though so we had pictures to fill it. But we have 200 guests so 25 pages for 350 guests should be good.

I plan on having our families and bridal party write notes in it before the guests get there, but I don't have special pages ... It's just pictures of us and a couple of bible verses

I just tried this - we got our e-pics back last week and ordered photo books for the parents and a yearbook-style lay flat guest book (no text) last week! Didn't really customize too much and kind of just wanted to be done with it. Ended up about 40 pages (11x14" - maybe 50% open space?) right now we have about 210 guests (comprised of maybe 90 families/couples) coming so I think it should be sufficient.

On another recent thread I think someone Googled and found that the extra fine sharpie worked well for this?
