Shower too late?

I am getting married June 17th of this year, and my BM are planning a shower for me on may 27th.

(my cousin is from out of state and to be able to come for the bachelorette and bridal shower it would have to be a long weekend-memorial day weekend- so both shower and bachelorette will be the same weekend)

Is that too close to the wedding?

    I don't think it is to close. my wedding will be March 3rd and my bridal shower was January 21st, bach party will February 24th.

    Not too late at all. My daughter's shower will be October 20th and her wedding is November 10th.

    I don't think it's too late.
    I had my shower March 5, 2017 and my wedding was April 22, 2017.
    If the date works for everyone then there shouldn't be issues.

    As others have said I think that’s fine. It may even be more exciting because you only have a few weeks to go by then!

    Its over $100 per plane ticket and my BMs work so to keep taking weekends to fly up or to take a day trip would be too much.

    It will be a little hard for some girls to have a bachelorette party Saturday and the shower the next morning but I do not think that it will be that crazy of a night.

    I think it's fine! My Wedding is March 3 and my bridal shower is this weekend (3 weeks before) and my bach party is next week (2 weeks before)

    It's not too close at all. Showers are commonly held 2 weeks to 2 months before the wedding.

    No, I don't think it is too close to the wedding. My wedding is in June and i have a shower in April and May.

    Its going to be a small shower of 50 people ( i'm inviting 180 guest) so they will be only inviting close people to me. So I'm not worried about people not going
