Shower in 2 days and no one has bought anything off of zola registry

Was the registry listed on the shower invites? Is it possible that people looked at what you wanted and ordered the same products from somewhere else?


I wouldn’t worry too much about it for right now. Just go and have a good time, be sure to send out thank you cards for whatever gifts you do receive, and then return whatever you can’t use/don’t want.

Not on the shower invites, but everyone was sent a link to the registry located on our zola wedding website individually. It's possible they are doing that, but I would think that the guest would mark it off as purchased on the registry so that we wouldn't receive duplicates later on...but then again maybe not ahaha.

We’re using Zola for our wedding registry and it notifies us every time someone buys a gift. Double check you have that turned on and check that there’s nothing in the gift tracker feature. Otherwise I guess you’ll have to wait and see what you get 😬

Not everyone uses online registries. It’s possible that they looked at it and chose to go elsewhere local to shop.


What exactly is a display shower? Are they common in your social circle? If not, that could also be confusing for guests. .

In case anyone was wondering, we didn't get anything off our registry from our shower guests. Mostly gift cards/cash and a couple of household items that people picked up themselves...no gift receipt but that's okay, it was a great time!

BTW I loved having a display shower (no gift opening at the shower), it gave so much more time to mingle with guests which was perfect for me because I live far away from my family and wanted to spend as much time with everyone as possible. The 2 hours went by so fast I honestly don't know how we would have had time to open each gift one by one in front of everyone.
