Here’s my engagement ring


I’ve been engaged since 2019, and I still love looking at it on my hand!

And this is my wedding band. Can’t wait to FINALLY get to wear it! 8 months and counting….!

You can’t see it in my crappy apt lighting, but it’s really sparkly when it’s in the light. My fiancé has his own engagement ring too. When we were still dating, we wore Yin and Yang necklaces everyday (me white, him black) and our rings reflect that.

I think it’s cute for the women to get her man an engagement ring, especially if you are planning your wedding in two years not the typical one. It wasn’t too much money, just something nice and sturdy until the wedding. Most of my friends thought the idea was dumb, but i vibe with it. I think it’s nice way to start seeing yourselves as future husband and wife and gives both parties the feeling of “being engaged.”


Sorta😅 I didn’t get his till a month after he proposed to me. I just cooked him dinner and made him favorite brownies. I wrote a cute little sign for it, but that was it. I’m not a very “grand gesture” person and neither is he, so it was cute for the two of us.

He did amazing picking my ring out! And it means so much to me just because he picked it out all by himself! It looks like 3 rings but it is just one big ring!

View Quoted Comment Yup! I lost 20 pounds since getting engaged and in the summer my fingers will swell a bit and it’ll fit but in the winter it’ll literally just fall off. When we bought my wedding band I wanted it to be the same size as my engagement ring in case I ever put weight back on. When we got married in October everything fit in the warm weather. So I suggested recently getting something cheap that fits me now to hold my rings on my finger when it’s cold lol. I’ve tried ring sizers and I just didn’t like them but if I continue to lose weight I might have to find one I like
