He said from the beginning he doesn't want to be in a tux so we compromised he can keep the jeans who doesn't like a guy in jeans. I get the vest and tie

Thats what i did lol. I originally was going to do creme colored suits so I had my FH try the creme and the grey and the grey was just beautiful on all skin tones (My father is Indian) and looked great with the boutonnieres i have had designed

We're looking at a deep slate blue suit from Menguin. My ladies are wearing dove grey, so I thought the darker suits would look nice with the lightness of the grey. Not sure how FH feels about light grey suits, but it's def. worth showing!

We knew we wanted grey and when my FH tried on suits we realized that some shades of grey looked way better on him than others. It really depends on the skin tone. So we went with a medium grey (as supposed to charcoal or light grey). So, I would really recommend trying different colors before making a decision.

He wants to wear a black bow tie, so that's what he is wearing. We don't have a bridal party - so no need to color coordinate anything. That made the decision a lot easier. :-) It's just our situation but I understand anyone who wants the traditional look and matching groomsmen and bridesmaids and those really fun pictures.

Great suggestions, thank you! Thankfully the website we're renting from has color swatches, and my FH really likes the color! So we'll most likely stick with it. This is one of the only things he's really excited about, so I think keeping the color he likes is the best decision for us.

Yes, definitely. If the color looks good on him and he likes it, I would definitely stick with it.

My FH chose his look - I am not even sure if that's what I would have chosen but it looks good and he is the one wearing it not me. We also have pretty similar taste.He bought his suit because he didn't
want to rent. We also wanted to get something that he can wear again.
