Honestly, having a timeline is fantastic. Especially if you have a coordinator or family/friend to help you follow the schedule. But things never go 100% according to plan. Hubby and I were so tired from the days events we put off the first dance, and the elderly side of his family didn't like the music combo with their hearing aids so we did cake before the dancing so they could see us and have cake then leave before it got loud.

father and bride dance..he doesnt want to offend his stepmom who mostly raised him by danceing with his mom (shrugs)

Entrance, cake cutting, dinner, first dance, father daughter dance and dancing, garter and bouquet toss. anniversary(generations dance). dance dance dance.

We're hoping for:

We want to use our entrance song as our first dance song, so we thought it would be fun to just slide right into the first dance. After that, we plan on thanking our guests and inviting them to sit and eat (we'll still make rounds during dinner).

We are not having a father/daughter dance or a garter/bouquet toss. We also don't want to do a cake cutting, so we're just going to announce that dessert is served.
