Our rings are really similar lol. I love the halo on yours! I opted for an enhancer because bands were getting lost with the halo.

Your ring is beautiful! Ovals are so unique and I love them for an engagement ring. Here is mine with the wedding band. This is a photo of me trying it on in the store when me and my fiancé looked for rings together. We won’t be married until spring of 2021. When I do get my wedding band I am going to have it soldered to the engagement ring so that it lines up perfectly. I also tried it with a straight band but I thought the contoured band looked better with my ring.

View Quoted Comment Nope! We got it from Zales, the same place we got my engagement ring. Originally I was planning on getting one of the crown bands - my ring is from the Disney collection - but then he pulled out this enhancer and it matched perfectly.

This is my ring. Vintage oval from 1910's. I decided not to wear a wedding band with it though. The center diamond is a champagne oval diamond, and changes color with the light

Your ring is absolutely beautiful!!! I don't have an oval diamond myself, I have a round brilliant. But what I will say is I would definitely recommend getting a contour band! I think it will compliment your diamond better. And from my personal experience I wish I had gotten a contour band. I have a more intricate band as well and I got a more traditional straight band because I wanted to be able to wear my wedding band on its own. I wish I had gotten a contour band thought because I like the look much more with my diamond. Here are a few photos i found, not exactly like your diamond but just to give an idea. The contour band goes so nicely with the engagement ring.

My ring is a round, but I decided on a straight band that lies flush underneath. It’s not exactly what you asked for in your post, but I figured I would share just for perspective 🙃.
