Should we just flip a coin?

Dan, on June 15, 2019 at 11:17 PM Posted in Planning 0 6
So we are torn between two venues. Both are within the budget. Both are absolutely beautiful. One is a B&B that we could rent all [10] of the rooms and stay over with a small group and do breakfast the next day, and the other is a Yacht Club with views of the ocean. Both use the same catering company so the food isnt a deciding factor. They're just far enough away from each other that we cant do both.
Any tips on deciding between the two would be great. I am tempted to just flip a coin.

Choose the once that makes planning the ready if the wedding easier.
I was in a similar situation, either a historic quaint hotel in the middle of Austin with no views or a high rise private club in San Antonio with great views. Though come time of the wedding we plan/ hope to be living in Austin, I currently live in San Antonio. I know a few people in San Antonio to help with the planning. So I picked the club in San Antonio because it makes the wedding planning process much easier.

The B&B sounds wonderful but I would bet the Yacht Club would be more accommodating for a wedding and less stressful on your from a planning perspective. They are use to events like this and likely have things readily available. My son and his fiancée recently picked a gorgeous old plantation to get married and while it was stunning we had to provide everything for that day. The vendors did a lot, but so did we and we worked for days to get ready for it. Just something to ask yourself. Good luck!

"our decor" is flexible. We are okay with both a blue, white and yellow nauticle theme, or a lacey country/rustic theme. I know i am no help whats so ever, but thats whats making this so hard. thanks! lol

I think we decided today, unless we change our minds at one of the last venues we have scheduled, we will be going with the B&B. As you guys pointed out, it would make the planning so much easier. Thank you all
