Should we have a ring box?

GeekyBride, on April 14, 2015 at 8:46 AM Posted in Etiquette and Advice 0 4

I just ordered my card box from Etsy, and saw the shop also has ring boxes. I hadn't given any thought to the rings. We aren't having a ring bearer. I have no idea what we do with the rings. Do we just have the BM and MOH hold them? If you're not having a RB, with the rings in a box , or some other vessel, what are you doing?

We aren't having a ring bearer either. I plan on ordering a ring box for the BM to hold on to until we exchange them during the ceremony. I was worried about the rings just rolling around in the BM's pocket all evening. This is the one we are ordering.

I would say if you aren't having a ring bearer then just have our BM and MOH wear them or have them in their pockets. No need for them to carry a box.

We are having 2 ring bearers so mine will carry a lil box. We got them at hobby lobby and spray painted them. They each will have a small fabric pillow to tie the rings onto. (fake rings of course). So technically my MOH and BM will still be doing the scenario above. The boxes are just for show.
