Should our ushers wear tuxes or just suits?

Totally depends on your style/preferance. Our ushers are just in black slacks, a blue shirt and yellow tie.

My groom is wearing a black jacket/black slacks, white shirt, white tie, cowboy boots. Our groomsmen will be in black jacket/black slacks, white shirt, blue vest, blue tie, and boots or dress shoes.

Our ushers and groomsmen wore the same tuxes.

FFil and our ushers will be in a black tux with light pink insides haha Groom will be in a light gray suit with light pink insides. He wanted to stand out.

ETA:We aren't having a wedding party

The bridesmaids dresses and groomsmen tuxes are olive green and since we didn't want the ushers to have to spend as much money to rent a tux since they aren't going to be in all the pictures and have quite as much responsibilities as the groomsmen, we are just asking them to wear either a white dress shirt with green ties or possibly an olive green dress shirt with orange tie...haven't decided yet which color yet.

Just depends on how fancy your event is. Our usher is just going to wear dress pants and a dress shirt and tie.

Our groomsmen are wearing suits. Really, it depends on how formal you see your wedding.

I am having a formal wedding, however, we have two ushers that are 15 year boys. They won't be wearing tuxes or suits. They will be wearing long sleeve dress shirts with black dress pants. The shirts will match the wedding colors. They will also be wearing ties. Not sure if I should have them gloves or not. But, they will not be as formal as the wedding party.

Our ushers are wearing black shoes, black pants, black tie, and a white shirt. They will be formal, but not as formal as the bridal party. We left the option up to them to do a black jacket or not. But told them if one does, so does the other one.

I've asked our ushers to wear a black suit. It seemed overkill to ask them to rent a tux like all the other groomsmen and an unnecessary expense for them.

My question I always asked was are they going to be in the pictures? If so have them match the grooms men our some what match them. Ex black vest but burgundy tie. It'd they are not going to be in any pictures suits well be fine

Our consultant encouraged us to have them the same as our groomsmen. Traditionally should they need to step in for a sick or MIA groomsman they will match. Also it's the one time ever I get to tell my brother how to dress. And I just think id love the way it looks in photos. My groom will be in ivory to match my dress, my dad in black vest and bow tie, my groomsmen, ushers and ring bearers in purple to match my girls. I totally think you should stand out in whichever color you chose!

It depends what you want them to wear. No right or wrong. Mine wore a tux. Because I only had one usher I didn't want him to feel like the odd man out so I put him in a tux with everyone else.

Our ushers are also serving as readers. I wanted them to wear an evening black suit, white shirt and black tie, but FH asked them to wear tuxedos a bow tie that he purchased for them.

My groomsmens are wearing gray tux the usher will wear gray suits

Our gm are wearing gray tuxedos. Ushers will be in gray suits.
