Should i put friend's girlfriend on Save the Date?

Tori, on September 5, 2018 at 9:11 PM Posted in Etiquette and Advice 0 7

They've been together for five months. His mom is my wedding planner. He's never really been in a super long term relationship, but she seems solid. Because it's a Save the Date I'm not doing and guest on them. But I don't want to be rude and not include her name since I know they've been a couple for awhile. Advice?

I’d say just his name for the save the date. You can add her name if they are still dating at the time you send out invites.

Yeah especially if they aren’t living together it’s no need to put her name on it!

I wouldn't. It goes to the main guest's name. I didn't include girlfriends or boyfriends unless they lived together.

We aren't addressing anyone for "plus ones". We are addressing couples as their names, and if they break up we won't invite the half we weren't friends with first (unless we've become equally as good of friends with both people).
