Should i Do a Mother Daughter Dance?

I lost my father back in 2010 and the thought of a parent dance has kind of been hanging over me. I would love to share that moment with my mother but I don't want to be a mess. I was thinking of I Hope You Dance by Lee Ann Womack (my mom used to sing this to me when I was younger) I just don't know how I will feel the day of! Anyone who has lost a parent knows some days are better than others.

Just looking for some advice from an outside source.

If it’s a moment that you would love to share with your mom I say go for it. If you get emotional it will be okay. I think it will be a very special moment for you both. ❤️

I️ would do it. Why not share that moment with your mom. Even if your emotional it’s something you’ll remember and be able to look back on.

I am doing Mom by meghan trainer. It is an upbeat dance song that you can choreograph dance moves to or just have fun!

I also lost my Dad quite some time ago and you're right, it has definitely brought up lots of feelings. I am suuuuper emotional so I am going to do a mother daughter dance but I'm having FH dance with his Mom at the same time to "Your Love (Keeps Lifting Me Higher)" and surprise my Mom with it. I thought picking something upbeat would help keep my emotions in check. I love the idea of honoring moms with a mom/daughter dance! I'm sure it will be beautiful!
