Should i Contact Them or...

I got this RSVP in the mail today. It was addressed to this woman and her 2 kids. [I assume kids, my fiance doesn't know his family.]
Should I have my FMIL contact her and ask if it's only her coming? Or should I just assume it's just her?
I dont wanna be rude, but at the same time, they probably don't realize we are trying to do a seating chart and need specifics.

    Yes I would ask.
I had a lady rsvp for 4 ppl. Me & my mom were trying to figure out who all were coming (this lady lets say her name is Jane) usually always comes with Alice because they live close to each other and both jane & alice are invited. But if it was just them it should only be 2 ppl. So my mom called jane to ask and the 4 ppl include her & her family. We didn’t think any of her family would be interested in coming because usually only jane & alice show up. Its no problem for the fam to come we are life long family friends. Pt of the story is ask if u need to so u wont be surprised on the day of where ppl you didn’t expect show up.

Definitely have someone reach out. You need a true headcount and for your seating arrangements.
