Should I change the buttons?

I would get rid of them all together and the nude fabric. Just have an open back

I agree I think it would be even more beautiful as an open back. If you did do the buttons I say ivory would be better

The dress is pretty If you don't like the buttons, can a seamstress replace the backing with just a shear chiffon like material?

I like the idea of open back or ivory buttons. I'm not too big into the traditional looks of weddings but I love buttons down the back of a dress.

Definitely open back or ivory. They kinda look like the color of the models skin and it freaks me out personally lol. But I absolutely love your dress. It's beautiful!!

Definitely ditch the entire nude mesh and buttons and have an open back. I personally HATE nude mesh... looks weird

I think the dress is beautiful and honestly kinda like that the buttons are different, I've never seen them in any other color but white or ivory.

It would totally work with ivory buttons of course, if you have a single doubt in your mind then change it. You should be loving your dress.

I agree with PPs in that the buttons don't make sense. I would remove them all together.

Can you even do that? Remove the illusion? It's not just an illusion back it's on the sides too. I think if I removed it the dress will not lay right in the front. The nude buttons just throw me off.

Illusion side

I am going with some of the previous posters. I hate illusion fabric and would have the seamstress nix it if possible. If not I love ivory buttons so I think that could be beautiful too

I personally find the buttons distracting when they are on illusion mesh and aren't nude.

It's different and it looks nice how it is now.

U can take off the fabric make it open back. Changing the color of the buttons will look a little odd with the nude color of the back.

First of all I love your dress and you look gorgeous. Second, I am a sparkly girl I would have them put ivory buttons with rhinestone in the middle!
