Short hair veil?!

I’m African American and I have a short haircut. I’m struggling to determine if I should wear a veil or not. Some say I could do the birdcage veil but I’m afraid that may be too distracting. Any brides out their willing to share a photo of how they have handled short hair and a veil? I’m attaching a photo so you can see my hair. Short hair veil?! 1

    I do not have short hair but I have seen plenty of women with short hair and veils. Here is an example. I’m sure whatever you decide you will look great!

    She’s rocking that look! I’m so scared of veils. I’ve even considered going without but my sorority sisters say I have to have one. But, that’s a good example.

    So I have short hair as well and I was not planning on wearing a veil at all, but when I went dress shopping I tried on a floor-length veil and fell in love. My hairstylist is aware and I still want the texture to my hair for the reception. But it's definitely doable. You should try some on because I was dead set until I tried the right one on. I tried on a short one and was not into it for me. Below is the pic of my veil.

    That’s a really nice dress and veil! I didn’t try one on at all. But, good point... I have to go back for alterations so I may try on a few. This is my dress. Short hair veil?! 4

    It's so beautiful! Yes, I highly recommended trying a couple of different styles( plain, lace appliques, beading) and lengths that way you will know for sure if you would like a veil or not.

    Veil or no veil is whatever makes you feel gorgeous on your day. I say try it on and go from there. I didn't want any veil at all!!! And I tried one on and I fell in love.

    My hair not shirt but I’ve seen beautiful ones. Your gown is gorgeous. You can use a nice hair piece like the first pic someone posted and still have some tulle attach to it!
