My FH and I are only taking 5 months to go from "Yes" to "I do". I was stressed out at first when we decided on a short engagement, but we've been very lucky so far in the 6.5 weeks that have passed since we got engaged!
- We found our wedding bands the day after we got engaged
- Not only was our top choice for a venue available (in September!), but it's also nearly all-inclusive (wedding planner for the pre-planning and the day of, tables, linens, chair, silverware, soft drink bar, flowers, food, cake, DJ, decorations, valet parking for guests, bridal and groom suites for the day of). All we need to book is a Photographer (DONE!), Officiant (DONE!), and alcohol.
- I found my dress (I cried!) at the FIRST boutique I went to - it was the fifth dress I tried on.
- My FH found his tux - coincidentally, also the fifth one he tried on! - and bought it for less than it would cost to rent! We also got a great deal for his groomsmen to buy their suits for less than it would cost to rent!
- We were able to book our bachelor and bachelorette hotel for the same weekend!
- Our invitations went out in the mail today! 
- My MoH is equally on a roll and already has my Bridal Shower and parts of my bachelorette weekend planned
I just feel so accomplished lol. Regardless of how long your engagement is/was, do/did you feel the same when you completed things for your big day?
