Short aisle? Should i be concerned?

Hey WW.

I need your thoughts. I toured a Hampton Inn and Suites for our wedding and reception and the ball room is smaller than expected. While we only have 70 guest max (on paper) and we will comfortably fit in this space, i am wondering if the walk will be too quick lol. I was planning a cathedral veil but if we go w/ this space (over another one) i may have to get a fingertip length (dont wanna cover the button detail down my back/train).

My question is though, how long do you think the aisle is. The room is about 2,000 sqft believe it or not.

I'd go for the larger space! One of my criteria for venue for the ceremony is also a long aisle. Cathedral veils are GORGEOUS so if the bigger venue is in your budget then do it! (plus it might be a personal preference but that carpet in your screenshot is...something else!)

IT IS UGLY AS HELL!!!!!! lol But the coordinator I talked to stated that they are getting new carpet in January of next year - currently in negotiation stages right now. So that will be months in advance of my April 2021.

That looks like a decent sized aisle to me. Especially if you remember to walk slow I don't think it will feel short at all. I also think a cathedral veil would work there!

Found out that its about 40ft. Perfect!!!!. This is the setup i will go for. looks much bigger in pictures. lol
