I'm going with Badgley Mischka heels for the ceremony and still looking for comfy shoes for the reception. I'm getting my Badgley heels from James Ciccotti website (verified 3rd party seller).


If you haven't already, check Poshmark. Some shoes are used and some are new. A lot of the shoes are discounted as well. Good luck!

I cannot walk in heels because 1: I'm extremely clumsy and I look ridiculous with my already long legs, and 2 because I have completely flat feet. So instead I went with some custom converse, my favorite shoes!! PLus my FH and I were going to wear converse for our HS Prom but the ones I bought back then were the wrong color lmao so now we get to both wear converse and I'm so excited!!!

Ah, shoes my favorite subject. It really depends on your style and the vibe that you are going for plus comfort. For me I love stilettos but I am considering my dress and the fact that I will be in these heels ALL DAY. So what to do right? Well opt for a heel an inch or two lower than what you would normally wear. Also, you could change the type of heel (say from a stiletto, to a wedge or a block heel. The brands that are comfortable and still cute are Charles David, Sam Edelman, Guess, Jessica Simpson, Aldo. You can even look online (Poshmark, Amazon, LuLus, Chinese Laundry) they have cute stuff. Badgley Mischka and Betsey Johnson have some comfortable and fashionable shoes but can be a little pricey. Hope that helps.

Found Mine On Amazon!

My daughter is having custom made Vans for me. They are going to be the American flag with my new last name on the back of the heel. I am so excited. They won't match at all but I will be comfy and they are what I wanted but she insisted on buying and designing them for me.
Plus my FH and I are about the same height so I didn't want heels. He could have couldn't have cared less but I didn't want to be taller than him in photos.

I also recommend Zappos. I ordered quite a few styles, tried on at home, and they were easy to return. Ultimately, I ended up getting mine at David’s Bridal. I was looking for a flat (I can’t do heels) so I found shoe shopping really difficult! Zappos had gorgeous shoes, though. Badgley Mischka has amazing bridal shoes, but they’re expensive. Keep in mind, if you order a heel and then switch to a flat later on, your dress will be dragging and you may step on it. Also, if you have a white dress, a pop of color on the shoe is beautiful! Also wondering if you had any say in his attire, just for equity sake!

I went with shoes that fit our theme instead of white. The heels are naturalizer so they’re comfortable and the sneakers are Kate spade keds. I splurged on shoes because I want to be comfortable and I’ll wear them again.

I got these off amazon, our theme is vintage and these are comfortable and stay on for a swing dance 😁
