I’m having the hardest time picking a shoe to go with my dress. The picture is my dress but in ivory. Anyone with a suggestion on what will go with this dress? My wedding is indoors in October.

What type of shoes do you want to wear? Heels, Flats, etc?

I'm having custom Chucks made and also purchased ballroom dancing shoes from Amazon. The ballroom shoes are the most comfortable. - The picture doesn't do it justice, but it feels like I'm walking on air.

I have an Ivory dress as well, the mermaid style you never really see the shoes much. I did a solid white shoe with a rhinestone strap down the middle for davids bridal. They are wedges and I dont plan to wear them all night but will look nice with pictures etc. I would say stay cheap, get something that will look nice for pictures and don't stress to hard about it!

Those are cute. I’m looking for heels. Nothing over 4” because my fiancé isn’t that much taller than me.

Yeah I definitely don’t want to spend to much on them. I saw a pair at David’s that I might go back and look at again. I can’t find them on their website.

Check out the ballroom dancing shoes on Amazon, they have all size heels - my FH is just a couple inches taller and did not want to "tower" him (hence my lower heels)

I choose the Ballroom dancing shoes because if dancers can wear them all night, I should happily comfortable for 5 hours. Smiley smile

Well, there is a lot of places you can check out what style you would like. I got my flats from Dillards. I know Payless has really cute shoes as well as Amazon. I would go with a thicker heel to help the comfort part. Like PP said the dress will cover them mostly. Also Ross! Sometimes you might get lucky at places like that. Also, I LOVE your dress sooooooooo beautiful!!

I really like the block heels. I find them to be more comfortable than a skinny heel

There you go! So then maybe you could do a bright color or something white or neutral? I guess it depends on what you find!
