Shoes

Hi all!!
I'm trying and failing to pick out shoes that will go with my bridesmaids dresses. I originally wanted converse but I can't find any that match the dress or their light grey cloaks.

Any suggestions that are not crazy expensive will be helpful!!!

If you are looking for a more casual shoe you could always go with a sandal but I don’t think converse would go well with the dress personally.

Thank you for your response! I'm trying to stay awake from sandals unfortunately. The wedding is in February.

I would check Amazon for wedding slippers/flats.

Have you looked into having custom converse sneakers made? I think vans also does custom shoes. Since they are long dresses, anything would be fine. I would look into flats for a February wedding. Or even some ankle boots if you wanted something a little warmer on the feet. Those in a light grey suede would be really pretty.

    I love the dresses.

Target has some cute slip on type sneaker shoes for around $29 a pair. They had a variety of colors.

You could have each girl pick a shoe they are most comfortable with.. My girls are wearing long dresses and since you can't see the shoe, I didn't find it necessary to make them have matching shoes. They each chose a shoe they like, at a cost they liked with the potential of rewearing..

I'm getting married in February, and my girls will be wearing a strapless pink ombre dress. The wedding will be inside, though. I told everyone just to wear open toe nudge heels or flats.

You could always check either Etsy for custom converse or keep it simple with a neutral like black, white or grey. The wedding I was in last year, the three of us bridesmaids had different colored converse with our teal dresses. Mine were a couple of shades lighter than my dress, one of the other bm's was purple and the moh had pink converse. Since it's a floor length dress, honestly I don't think it matters too much. Based on personal experience, you can't even tell once the dress is on

My MOH is engaged as well and she is having us wear sparkly Toms for her wedding in April. I'm not sure where she got them or how much these were, but we are wearing long/flowy lavender dresses. Even if you choose a different color, it might add a little sparkle and still be a more casual shoe.
