I'm doing both heels and flats. Heels for the ceremony through the first dance (and probably dinner) and then flats for party. My dress is being hemmed to my flats so that I won't have to be holding it up the whole time.

I love shoes. I love love love shoes. I tend to buy really nice high end shoes from luxury consignment shops for a tiny fraction of what they cost retail, but I'm using my wedding as an excuse to buy (for most likely the only time) my dream shoes retail. I'm staying away from "bride" shoes - since I'm splurging on my shoes, I wanted to make sure they were shoes I could wear again and again.
