I need opinions on shoes. I’m having an outdoor, October wedding in Ohio. With a rustic feel to it. Dress isn’t white, but is very lace detailed.

Those shoes are beautiful! 2 things I would consider: making sure your heels don’t sink into the grass, and making sure the delicate lace of your dress doesn’t snag on the jewels on the shoes.

What does rustic mean to you? Because those shoes don't look rustic to me in any way. Now, shoes don't necessarily need to match a theme, but you mentioned your theme and asked for opinions. They also don't seem practical for an outdoor wedding in October.

Hello fellow ohio bride Smiley smile those shoes are so gorgeous!!! absolutely love them, since your having an outside wedding I've seen hacks online of how to prevent the heel from digging into the ground maybe you can look at these and try out one that would work for you so that the shoes will be comfortable In the grass Smiley smile

I don’t know how to edit the post.🤔(Still very new to the app) I should add these are NOT my actual shoes. I should of added that I was looking for what others are going with. Heels? Flats? Shoes 2

Yes that is it!! I’m obsessed with it and am always staring at it! 😂here is some of the back train. Thank you so much! I need it altered at the bottom quit a bit, but need to figure out what kinda shoes to wear first. I thought that would be the easy part lol

Ohh my god that's gorgeous the shoes you did post originally would actually look so good with the dress or even something very similar but more outside friendly

For an outdoor wedding, I'd look for something similar to your inspiration but with a wedge -- it will give you more stability on uneven ground. Also, there are lots of posts about bride's having issues with all those jewels on the shoes snagging on their lace and/or tulle dresses. Your dress is absolutely GORGEOUS, so I'd be especially bummed if that beautiful lace was getting caught/snagged by my shoes. Honestly, with a long dress, shoes will not show unless you lift your skirt up to show them off. Daughter insisted on wearing her favorite shoes, Converse, with her very formal a-line ballgown. At first I had concerns (because I didn't think they were "appropriate"...), but kept my thoughts to myself. As always (lol!), she was right. Except for when she lifted her skirt to come down steps, no one saw her shoes all day and she was incredibly comfortable for 12 hrs, including a good 4+ hours of wild dancing. Choose whatever you want, but take comfort & practicality into account! Good luck!
