Shoes - match the jewelry or dress?

So my dress is actually a mustard color. I ordered shoes that I love that are made of silver rhinestones. When trying them on with the dress tonight, I wondered if I should have purchased them in gold instead (which are, of course, out of stock everywhere). My jewelry - rings and necklace - are silver. Do you think the shoes will look okay as long as they match the jewelry, or should I look for something else?

Unless your dress is short, most people won’t see your shoes. But you can match it to anything. There are no rules.

Nope, I think this will look much better than gold because you will have contrast! To me, gold would have been too "matchy matchy" with the mustard. You did good.

I think silver will look great with that dress! Gold would have looked like you were trying to match it, but would probably have a different contrast. Having your shoes match your jewelry will look really well-coordinated

Looking at the picture it’s the perfect color of yellow. This will add depth and contrast to you look and will be absolutely AMAZING.
