I didn't go with "wedding" shoes, because I wanted to be able to wear them again. That said, I got married outside and wore a wedge sandal.

Block heels are a good option if you definitely want heels. It's definitely possible to find some really nice flats though. I had to wear stilettos on mushy grass as a bridesmaid a few years ago. If you're in stilettos either grab some heel stoppers or learn to walk gracefully on just your toes. As my mom predicted (she was very excited when she found out she guessed correctly), I will be wearing cowboy boots. For reference, our colors are black and red. The picture isn't of my boots specifically, but they are the exact style and color of mine. Mine just look a bit newer :-)

I'm getting married in October 2021 on grass and am wearing the Loeffler Randall Camellia Bow Heel with Ankle Strap...I think. I may change my mind, but that's the plan so far.

The Reformation has really elegant sandals that are on 1-3 inch heels. This is what I'll be wearing. I believe they have a sale 3 times a year - the spring, black friday, and after the new year. I just bought my wedding shoes from there for $50.

They don't have any shoes on their website at the moment but should soon. Definitely check because you can find something nice that you'll definitely wear again.

I bought them off etsy. They were $145

I would go with a wedge with closed toes if I were you just in case - so that way you don’t sink in the dirt and you don’t get moisture in between your toes
