Shoes for lace dress?!?

Two ideas i am thinking of since i am doing flats. but i am definitely doing a color for my shoes, maybe blue or a berry color

My dress isn't all lace (photo below for reference) but has some. I didn't do lace on the shoes because all the ones that I saw that I liked had a super high heel and I'm a klutz so they wouldn't work. I wanted something flat and comfortable, these were the second pair I bought and love them

I am shopping for a lace dress and satin shoes, but that is mostly because I want shoes in a bold color and that will pop more in satin. I think I'd prefer non-lace shoes with most lace dresses, but I don't think the lace patterns would necessarily clash.

In most cases, no one sees the bride's shoes unless she pulls her skirting up a bit. My dress is near identical to Maltese's, and here are my shoes.

I'm wearing boots with my lace dress. My cousin's wife wore her running shoes with her lace dress. No one saw until she pulled up her dress to show everyone. And, my boots are really comfortable.

Hi Dress Twin!!! I ordered my dress in white and bought like a light silver and bling shoes from DSW. I bought these because I didn't think of lace shoes and I needed wide. Open your mine up to non-lace just incase you don't find anything you love.

I'm not wearing matchy matchy shoes. I figure nobody will see them anyway. I'm doing flats also. Mine are flat, purple sparkly. They're just fun.

I haven't found my shoes yet but thinking I won't go too matchy and just find a comfortable something that is 4 inches

Find shoes you love and don't worry about lace/not lace. It won't matter. I have an all lace dress and short strappy sandals with a little bling on them, nothing fancy though.

I got simple ivory colored shoes with a 1/2 in. heel (I'm 5'6" and already tower over people enough as is haha) from David's Bridal. I went in there on a whim because I was sick of looking all over the place for shoes. I really can't stand DB, but I was completely desperate. I ended up finding them on clearance for about $14! They aren't lace, but my dress has tons of lace like yours.

I absolutely adore your dress by the way! I was torn between Emma and another dress, but I ended up getting the other one (not even sure why).
