Shoes for grass ceremony

I'm getting married next summer and we're having an outdoor ceremony in the grass. As much as I want pretty wedding heels, I don't want to be worried about sinking into the grass as I walk down the aisle. Has anyone done pretty wedges or sandals? Send pics!

Our ceremony is outside in the grass also, and I really want to wear heels. I always wear heels.. I bought the soulmates to try out, but I think the smarter choice would be wedges for ceremony then I can put my heels on for the reception.

I'm thinking these since I'm getting married in a park (even though there's a stone aisle)

We also have an outdoor ceremony, I'm doing flat bedazzled sandals that I found on Etsy - floor length gown so no one can see my feets anyway lol

I'm wearing comfy shoes for the ceremony and reception. I am buying heels to wear just for my bridal photos

If you want to wear heels, you can get these to keep from sinking into the grass:

We are also thinking of possibly having an outdoor ceremony and I too was thinking about doing wedges! At least for the ceremony and then possibly changing into heels for the reception. I'm sure you will be able to find a really pretty wedge for the ceremony!

My sandals have heels - not wedges - but they're really cute, chunky heels. That's another option for you!

Badgley Mischka has some really cute chunky heel options that look made for brides! These start at $235 though so if you want something in the cheaper range there are good $50-$100 options on Zappos (+they allow free returns!). Steve Madden Irene is a nice low chunky heel and then they have a bunch of other options are a higher heel in the same style. I'm dealing with the same issue and hoping to buy through Nordstrom as they have a great return policy and so many options I know I'll find something.

I'm actually trying to stay away from wedges as they have a skinny heel and I think a chunky heel will be much more secure and stable.
