We’re getting married in October in a small casual ceremony and are doing a renewal next year per where we’re doing the full ceremony with my “actual” dress etc.
I’ve found a dress I’ll be using for the ceremony, which I’m pairing with a lacy sweater to give it a veil like effect and fancy it up a bit, but I’ll be wearing fleece lined tights underneath because it’s October and it’s a short dress. However, I have no idea what shoes will work with this layout.
Usually I’d do black booties with the dark tights because they elongate the leg, but I feel like it makes it contrast too much with the white.
What do you think? Several options in pics, but I’m willing to buy new shoes if the perfect color/shape exists.
(Also trying to lean toward slightly shorter heels because FH is a bit of a baby if my shoes make me taller than him...but if it’s the perfect pair he’ll get over it).
