Shoes? Belt?

Alyssa, on March 4, 2020 at 10:55 AM Posted in Wedding Attire 0 14

Help! My wedding dress is super simple. I'd love to glam it up a bit, but it has very faint, printed roses over it so I don't want to distract away from those minor details. I just don't know what belt would look best with it? Show me your belts! Also shoes? Outdoor venue, ceremony is in grass. I'm a professional in heels so that's what I would feel best in. Pics below are from google, last one is me in mine Smiley smile

I actually wouldn’t put a belt on yours. Think it’s nice as is

I don't think it is too simple. I love the clean look! I don't think it needs a belt.

I love it, I wouldn't put a belt. I would actually keep the jewelry simple too... maybe find a cool headpiece/hairpiece!

I don't think you need a belt. If you do choose to, perhaps something with pearls rather than bling? Then it wouldn't pull attention from the subtle details.

something like this could work, but it still has a little sparkle

having florals on the belt may accent the subtle rose pattern in the dress as well. But again, I don't think you need it.

I like it without a belt. Classic clean lines. Your dress is timeless. I’d just have a nice sparkly headpiece or tiara and nice jewelry. Maybe something like this. Shoes? Belt? 7

Love the pearl idea, roses are my birth flower and pearls are my birth stone! Didn't even think of this lol. Thank you!!

Totally agree with everyone, I think it’s so gorg as is!! If you really want a belt I would go with something pretty simple, maybe a little lace and a bit of sparkle, and then if you want a bit extra a simple necklace. That dress is so elegant, good job!

What are you thinking shoe wise? Your brave doing heels in grass! I would for sure fall. ahaha

I opted for betsy johnson's blue line for brides, but i went with a flat. Our reception and venue are on brick and I was still nervous about falling.

I dont want to test gravity on my wedding day! Im already clumsy as is. AND i have a feeling my nerves will make me extra clutzy

I dont think I'd put a belt on it, you can accessorize with a fancy necklace, and bracelet and maybe hair piece.

I got mine off ETSY! The store is currently on vacation but it was exactly what I wanted! Simple but still gives my dress a little something! I think a nice belt would compliment the dress well! Shoes? Belt? 8
    Something like this, maybe?

I think it’s gorgeous the way it is and wouldn’t put a belt with it.

I think a belt will take away from the dress. It's gorgeous the way it isSmiley smile Wear a veil with a little beading maybe? I LOVE this one from BHLDN.

If you do a belt, I might suggest only a thin belt with sparkle. No necklace unless a tiny drop. I’d go for earrings but if you’re doing a veil I’d start with that.
