Shoe color for bridesmaids dresses!

J+J 2018, on February 8, 2018 at 2:01 PM Posted in Wedding Attire 0 25

Hey All!

My bridesmaids all have their dresses already, we chose wine color which is like a burgundy. My dilema is what color shoes to have them wear. I was thinking either black or nude, what do you think? I have included a picture of the dress.

I would ask your bridesmaids which they prefer. I personally own 5 different black heels and not a single nude pair. But both colors go nicely with the dress

Both are fine. The dress is long so no one will see their shoes. I'd let your BMs choose since I already own black heels and would be annoyed if I had to purchase a pair of nude specifically for this dress.

Nude. But black would be nice if you really won’t see them

You could really go either way. If you're ok with having them wear any shoe of their choosing in your desired color, maybe survey your BMs and see what they already own. If they all have a black dressy shoe already, go with black, or vice versa, if they all own a dressy nude shoe, have them go with nude.

This exactly. It is also floor-length so you will barely see them peeking out. As long as they are all the same color it will look great.

Nude would look pretty with that dress.

Considering the length of the dress I don't think it will matter what color they wear.

Definitely ask for their opinions, some may own one color over the other, but either color is nice!

While it would be nice to check to see which shoes they already own, I can't imagine wearing black heels with that dress for a summer wedding.
