Shepherd hooks

Our ceremony will be outside. We plan on using shepherd hooks with paper lanterns hanging from them. I found some at the dollar tree but they are only 30". I'm afraid that's to short and they won't stick out. They are going to be the only decoration we have so I feel like they need to be big. How tall should the ones we get be?

Mine are 30inches too. If you're sitting down (which everyone will be) they'll still stand out you don't want them blocking people's views.

I got mine from Hobby Lobby at 40% off. They are 40 inches, I believe.

I got the ones from dollar tree. they will be fine for my venue. i thought they'd be super short too but if all youre hanging from them is paper lanterns i think they'd be fine! our ceremony is at a park pavilion and we cant have ANY decorations posted/taped/tacked to the actual pavilion so all were having is hooks with hanging plants to line the aisle. i could not justify spending a ton of moeny on them!! for them to probably be given away...bc what the hell will i do with 20 hooks at home. so i figured what the heck, they get the point across and nobody will remember 'omg her shepherds hooks were sooo short at her wedding'
