Sheer dress top

Hi ladies! Those of you that have wedding dresses with sheer tops what are your plans for something to wear underneath? The top of my dress down to the waistline ish is completely sheer so I’m not sure to just do the cups that will be sewn in and some bandletts or some sort of spanx? Or maybe the bra that doesn’t have a back to it as cups in the front? What are your plans?

Right now I’m planning to just do the sewn in cups. Spanx or anything under will have an ending point that would show (I had high rise spanx on when trying on dresses). If you don’t want to show skin you can always have it lined opaque

It was offered but I don't Like that idea. My skin tone really makes the sheer part of the dress stand out. I just want to make sure everything is supported lol

Here's a front and back of my dress. I'm not planning on wearing a bra or anything Don't have one on in the pic and I'm a 38D cup). The top is tight enough where nothing will move lol. As for the bottom half I haven't decided yet, but I wont have the problem of anything showing though.

I'd try to just go with the sewn-in cups. When it's tailored to you, it should be enough support, and I'd be afraid of seeing anything else you wear.

I’m just having the sewn in cups. My dress hasn’t come in yet, but the one I tried on which was too big actually felt secure all clipped up. Mine also has boning which makes it seem more secure. The bridal salon recommended not wearing anything underneath.

Oh nice! I wish mine had boning. It is just the sheer fabric.

Your dress is so pretty! Mine is strapless so it definitely needs the boning! I wonder how much it would cost to have it added if you’d feel more comfortable with it or if they could even do it?

Thank you. I am wondering about if they could add it to the sides. However, since the cups are not the right size there’s no support there. That very well might be the reason I feel unsupported.

I love the front! Your dress definitely looks like it offers enough support to go braless. I wish I could do the same! I'm a 32F so i don't need a bra but I need some kind of support!

Beautiful dress! Are you going to have them add the right size cups?

My dress also has a sheer top. In the first pic I'm totally braless but I hate the look of so much cleavage. They will be adding more lace appliques around the neckline and chest to completely cover the boobies so that will take care of that. I do think I need some kind of support though but I'm not sure if sewn in cups will help but it's probably my only option as the back is sheer.

This is my dilemma, I'm a little bigger on top and will be wearing a somewhat sheer top and have no idea what to wear underneath.
