Shdress - scam?

I think the website seems kind of legit but I think the red flag for me is the cost of the dresses. I mean it seems like a steal only spending around 200 on a wedding dress but I wonder if that means the quality is poor or the dress is not quite as pictured. The dresses on the site are beautiful but just seems a little fishy to me!

Could you maybe take the designer of that dress and the style number to a dress store local to you and see if they have it? Then you don't have to take the risk?

Seems like a knockoff site to me based on the pricing and various photo styles I'm seeing (ie some with models, some in shops etc.)

I searched “shdress reviews” and a lot of articles came up about girls getting scammed trying to buy prom dresses and they were poor quality ripoffs of designers. None of the articles I skimmed had the name of this website though. So take it however you want. I hope you have good luck because it’s a beautiful dress!!!

I would definitely recommend an alternative site if you're not sure. There shouldn't be a question if a site is legitimate for something so important :-) there are other legitimate online vendors for wedding dresses. I would highly recommend Azazie, I got my wedding dress from them and all of my bridesmaids dresses. They are definitely legit, have wonderful customer service, and are extremely high-quality. https://m.azazie.com

If it doesn’t look legit then buy your dress from there. Follow your gut and if you are questioning the website it is not worth the effort.If There are other good venues to buy you dress.

You can search by letters in the alphabet. If you look under 's', yes SHdress is on there. Luckily, most of them take pictures from the real designers. With a bit of searching on your end, I'm sure you can find that dress elsewhere. If not, you can always look on etsy or such for similar silhouettes that are better custom made to you.

I could be wrong but I feel like that dress looks similar to some Hailey Paige dresses, so you might want to look into that designer

Unless they have an easy and free return policy I wouldn’t risk it! And definitely google for reviews. $200 isn’t much when it’s for a wedding dress but, in my opinion, it’s a lot to completely lose if this dress isn’t as it seems. Generally with online stuff I think if it seems too good to be true then it probably is too good to be true

Right so I’m not as concerned about buying from the website and the price (I don’t want to risk it) I’m more asking about the specific dress. It has all the components that I want which is delicate plunge, floral lace, beaded bodice and layered silouhette. Ill look into Hailey Paige!!

It does look very similar to Hayley Paige or maybe a Casablanca. Check out those two designers! From what I’ve heard SHdresses is a knockoff site and if you’re one of the lucky ones that receives your order, it’s likely not going to look as good as the photos they use.

Hey! So I actually did have luck finding the dress.. the bridal shop I went to in Destin, FL had it! I forgot to ask what the brand was, but the shop was Simply Elegant Bridal in Fort Walton Beach! It was beautiful, but for whatever reason it wasn't exactly what I thought it would be. I definitely would not use the website as it is a copy of an existing designer.

WOW, it's amazing that you found this dress in an actual bridal store!! So great that you didn't buy it online, and that you were able to try it on in store!!
