Sharing wedding website on social media?

When did you ladies post your website on Social Media? Or should you at all? Should I post our engagement pics 1st, then website? Or just send out the website info to the guest list?

Absolutely do NOT post your wedding website on social media. That is ONLY for the guests who are invited. I find it super rude when people post hella stuff on social media in regards to their wedding, especially their wedding website. The only thing that is acceptable to post to social media is pictures of the wedding AFTER the wedding is done. (And an announcement you are engaged if you are so inclined)

Posting your engagement pics is fine, but I would not post any info related to the wedding itself on social media (unless your friend list is tiny and everyone is invited). I've never understood people who do this. It's always had a very gift-grabby, let-me-throw-this-in-your-face kind of vibe to it. No one but your guests and vendors should know this information.

Posting your website or any wedding details on social media would be extremely rude to those who aren’t invited to your wedding. Think about it: do you really want your wedding information out there for all your friends to see? And if they’re not invited, you might end up with some party crashers. And don’t forget the inevitable onslaught of invitation requests and “Can’t wait to be there!” When you already knew you had absolutely no intention of inviting that person. Save yourself the headache and only share the website with guests through an invitation insert.

Don't post on social media unless you have expensive taste and want a bunch of random people showing up to your wedding. Private message your link to those you want. Call them if you want and share your excitement of hopefully seeing them there.
