This is my ring. My fiance designed it himself. The gold is made from old jewelry melted down and he selected the diamonds himself. He knows exactly where they come from. The ring is ethically made. No blood diamonds. I love it so much.
Yes! Well we had been talking about getting married for a few weeks prior. We went into our relationship knowing the goal was marriage. So complete surprise no but definitely a surprise. He made me breakfast in bed and popped the question when he brought me food. It was so sweet. That's pretty much what I love most about the ring, he picked it out himself because he thought I would genuinely enjoy this particular one.
I am over the moon thrilled about my engagement (8/21/19) though we have been talking about getting married since we were about 6 months into the relationship. We just had our 2 year anniversary. Even though part of me wanted this to be a complete surprise, I also appreciate that we are making such a huge decision together. He went to 3 stores and found some rings he thought I would like and then we went back together and I gave the final seal of approval on the one I wanted and he held onto it in order to surprise me at the right time. This will be a second marriage for both of us, and we both realized neither of us really had the wedding we wanted and things just weren't right, and it took us some years to find each other, but i'm so glad we ddi. I told my kids first and a few friends, and then posted on facebook, just did a simple status change update and then watched my phone blow up with congratulations
Yes and no. I did not drop the hints to him directly. My cousin started a conversation on what type of ring I would want eventually. I mentioned the details of my dream ring and then he proposed with it.
