Share your nerdy details

We didn’t do anything overtly nerdy, though we talked about a lot of options. If we’d had a nighttime exit instead of day, we absolutely would’ve exited to a lightsaber arch! But as it was, only our music was a little nerdy. My bridesmaids walked to a piano cover of a Disney song (I See the Light from Tangled), and our reception entrance was the Imperial March.

My husband is a huge anime/video game/tabletop nerd, so we used pocessional, recessional, and cake cutting music from some of our favorite shows and game soundtracks.

We're being rather subtle but my fiance and I met through the Harry Potter/Wizarding World fandom and we're both Ravenclaws. For our fall wedding, the colors are a slight nod to that, as navy/copper/dusty blue.

We might add some other small details (the Rowena diadem was tempting but... no); for our family members who might not be impressed by esoterics, or heretical witchcraft, we're keeping it super low-key.
