Spanx! And a bodice/corset bra. If you’re lucky like I am you have an independent lingerie store nearby. I went in and told them I needed wedding shapewear and they were brilliant to work with!

I got a thong for my rehearsal dinner dress. I also got a compression garment I used after my tummy tuck & liposuction.

I got the Honeylove capris and love them. I tried Spanx and they didn’t do much to smooth out my lumps and bumps

Any of the bodysuits. Most of them should work unless you have a backless dress, I had a lottt of trouble finding shapewear that worked with my backless dress. Never tried them but they also have like underwear that is for tummy control that could also be good!

I tried spanx and they were just ok. I noticed a lot of them don’t have an open gusset and I thought that was super important since how are we supposed to take those things off to pee?! Some of those things are super tight! 🤣 I ended up finding a skirt at Walmart that didn’t have anything to worry about. Depending on the dress I would def recommend something that’s easy to take on or off to pee. Yup. That was my main concern lmao!

I ended up going with the "Suit Your Fancy" lowback/lowfront bodysuit from Spanx. It is definitely not most supportive/compressing as far as the tummy area is concerned, but it does a great job of smoothing your hips and tummy as well as providing some support in the chest (which was my #1 concern since my dress has a low front and I have a very small chest. This body suit actually gives me cleavage! It also comes with clear straps and has a variety of configurations for the back, if your dress doesn't have a low back.

I have never tried shape wear before but I always have a little pooch and I wanted to see if I could find something to suck it in. I got a SPANX thong and I was pleasantly surprised at how it was comfortable but sucked in my little tummy.

My friend recommend Le mystere’s longline bra. I am one month away and I just ordered a bunch from Macy’s to try on and see what works best. As for tummy control I’m not sure, but I got some from Leonisa, miracle suit, etc. to try.

I’m worried - my dress is off the shoulder. I have a DD cup (reduction about 16 years ago) and every strapless type shape-wear I’ve tried kinda pushes my boobs down in a way. My daughter is making my dress so sge may alter it.

I’ve got a similar body type. The Honeylove sculptwave capris were good for me because they don’t have a bra attached; I can choose what bra to wear. Maybe those would be a good solution?

I never thought of that! I was too focused on the boob problem!
