Shapewear and Undergarments

Upon doing some research on shapewear for my wedding and trying to detox my house, I came across this article about Skims ethical practices - which I am not impressed with. I was surprised to see that most, if not all of the products made by Skims are synthetic and some are more toxic than others. While I am doubtful there is a non synthetic shapewear that exists (let alone works), I was concerned when I saw Modal listed as the main material on several items on the Skims website. It’s pretty standard to use polyester or nylon for shapewear, even better if it’s recycled, but modal is really toxic stuff. I just wanted to give a heads up for anyone sensitive to chemicals!
